FAQs

How can I book a cottage or trailer?
At this time we only accept bookings made through AirBnB or Cottages in Canada. Are you new to AirBnB? Sign up today and you’ll receive a $25 credit towards your first trip (whether with us or another AirBnB host). See our Bookings page for links.

Where can I learn more about each cottage or trailer?
Our Bookings page contains links to each listing, where you’ll find information about how many people each rental sleeps, amenities provided, check in and check out times, etc.

Do you have wifi?
Yes, we do have free wifi in the cottages!

Are there pets on the property?
Yes, we have free range chickens and two very friendly cats. Our roosters are not typically aggressive; however, they have chased very small children if they felt threatened. We ask that you supervise young children closely if you wander up to the house. In addition, other guests may have dogs with them. All dogs must be left secured at the cottage or at the trailer – dogs are not permitted at the beach area.

Is the cottage and trailer wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately no. The cottage does have three steps to reach the entrance, and could not be managed independently by someone in a wheelchair. Additionally, the washroom is quite small and cannot accommodate a wheelchair.

Are fire pits available?
Yes, each rental has a private fire pit, and there is a communal fire pit on the beach. Your first night’s firewood is provided – should you need more, you are welcome to bring your own or buy a bundle from us for $5, cash only.

What activities do you have?
Canoe and paddle boat rentals are available in two hour increments for $5, cash only. We also have a pair of kayaks available for rent for $5 total for both in two hour increments. Bring your rod and fish for small trout, bass and perch from the beach or on one of the water toys. Horseshoes and washer toss is also available. The cottage is stocked with books, board games and colouring activities for kids.
